Safety Requirements

All public racing participants must meet strict safety standards and complete required safety briefings before accessing the runway for Friday night sessions. Vehicles must pass basic safety inspections and meet minimum requirements for participation in public racing activities following ECTA Motorsports guidelines. Participants should bring proper safety equipment including helmets and be prepared to follow all instructions from event officials and safety personnel throughout the session. ECTA Motorsports rules and regulations apply to all Friday night participants, ensuring the same professional safety standards used in competition racing. This structured approach allows everyone to experience high-speed racing while maintaining the highest level of safety for all participants and spectators.

Required Waiver Form

Before participating in Friday night public racing, all drivers must complete and sign required waiver forms acknowledging the risks and responsibilities of high-speed motorsports participation. Waiver forms must be completed in during registration on Friday evening prior to any racing activity at Colorado City Airport. The waiver process includes review of safety protocols, vehicle requirements, and participant responsibilities during the public racing session. Completed waivers and safety briefings are mandatory for all participants regardless of driving experience or vehicle type. This documentation ensures everyone understands the commitment to safety that makes Friday night public racing possible for the West Texas community. ECTA waiver forms will be available on-site during the event.
